SPC Trick 2 Calculate an Average - A Wayworld Tutorial

In a normal distribution, the average is the high point of the curve.
	If a process has a Target (a standard or specification we want to produce), then the AVERAGE of the process should be near the TARGET.

To calculate the average, add up all the values measured to get the Sum count how many values were used to get the Count divide the Sum by the Count:
